Gloucester: Todd Bleckley of Malden carries his surf board on his head while crossing the footbridge at Good Harbor Beach Tuesday. Bleckley and his fiancee, Heidi O'Brien, both tested the waters but said the conditions were rougher than they expected so they were packing it in for the day.
